The objective of this Call for Proposals is to enable and support Civil Society Organisations engaged in the conservation of the above species to carry out sustainable survival measures at a local level to protect the species, their habitat and to improve the livelihoods of the people who depend on them. Projects should be no longer than 24 months.

We will be accepting applications until 23:59 CET on 12 January 2020. A Technical Advisory Group, composed of independent experts from the IUCN Secretariat and wider network, will review all eligible proposals and based on their evaluation, a proposal will be shortlisted for funding (pending additional checks). Given the amount of funding available (55,000 USD), applicants should be aware that only one proposal is likely to be funded.

Please read all the announcements, information and the documents that are available on the Online Portal carefully.
