As part of the SOS Lemurs initiative funded by a Geneva based private foundation, a third call for proposals is now open. This call focuses on all species of lemurs in line with the recommendations and priorities for lemur conservation as presented in the document published by the IUCN/SSC Primate Specialist Group: Lemurs of Madagascar – A strategy for their conservation 2013-2016. While all priority sites identified in this document remain eligible, applications proposing to work in priority sites that have not yet benefited from SOS Lemurs funding in previous rounds will be favourably considered.
If you are interested in applying for an IUCN SOS grant, please visit the SOS Online Portal, where you will find all the necessary information and documentation required, including the eligibility criteria for proposals. Please carefully read all the announcements, information and the documents that are available on the Online Portal.
